Workshop project · Construction takeoffs
Plans in. Quantities out. Every number shows its work.
Size Me is Vibecrafting's plan-set intelligence project: construction takeoffs derived from a coherent 3D reconstruction, with confidence and provenance on every line. It is an internal proof of concept, not a bid-ready product, and it says so wherever the evidence is incomplete.

The method
Size Me does not optimize for one impressive total. It builds a chain from plan sheet to model element to quantity, then keeps the uncertain links visible.
Classify and reconcile floor plans, elevations, structural sheets, schedules, and notes as one building—not a pile of unrelated pages.
Turn the extracted rooms, walls, openings, and roof into a coherent 3D description that downstream math can inspect.
Derive the takeoff from geometry and attach the formula, contributing elements, source tier, confidence, and governing spec to each line.
Archived reference run
A public-domain, 39-sheet residential plan set across three home variants. It remains the project's reference case because it forces architectural, structural, MEP, schedule, and elevation evidence to agree.

Refused to ship
A sanity gate rejected implausible room geometry.
The pipeline, schemas, confidence model, and refuse-to-ship path are working. The cached quantities are not verified ground truth: calibration hardening is not yet active in the live path, and no estimator has signed the fixture. This page preserves the project without presenting the retired standalone demo as live.
Why it lives at Vibecrafting
Per-line provenance, confidence badges, stuck items, cross-checks, and hard refuse-to-ship gates were proven in Size Me and carried into Vibecrafting. Keeping the project here makes that lineage navigable instead of letting the work disappear with an old deployment.
